About Róbert and Luminarcis

Technology within landscape architecture has always fascinated me. I have realised early on what a transformative role tech plays in our industry. Therefore, I’ve been focused on software since the beginning of my journey as a design professional. So naturally, since the AI boom began, I have been following it very closely. I have tried over a hundred generative AI tools. Some of them were super useful, some of the were fun to try out, and there were some totally useless ones. In this exponentially developing field, new tools and updates are coming out almost on a daily basis. Keeping up with them is a full-time job. My mission is to filter out the noise and deliver the best AI tools to architects and planners, helping them integrate these tools into their workflows.

I am originally educated as a landscape architect and urban designer, holding a master’s degree from the University of Copenhagen, and a bachelor’s from Szent István University, Budapest. Furthermore, I did exchange studies at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences at Alnarp. I gained professional experince from threee countries, namely: Spain, Denmark and Sweden. My experience working in diverse cultures, as part of many multidisciplinary teams, enables me to understand how different professions and countries have distinct workflows. This, combined with my technical expertise, allows me to find the best solution for each case.

I started Luminarcis in 2024 with the goal to deliver the best AI-tools for architects, landscape architects and planners. Technology has fundamentally transformed our fields several times. Consider the impacts of CAD software, the internet, or BIM. Artificial intelligence is the next disruptive technology that promises to save resources, foster more innovative designs and create a seamless workday. Luminarcis’ mission is to guide architecture and planning professionals into a bright, AI-empowered future. This is also reflected in the company’s name: Lumin ( Luminous, bright light emitting) and arcis (Architecture)
